Termite Treatment

What does a termite treatment involve?

Whether you are buying, selling, or simply looking to protect your home, a termite inspection will provide you with peace of mind. Therefore, a termite inspection should be undertaken:

  • Completing an inspection
  • Direct treatment of live termite site
  • Drilling and injecting large trees or tree stumps on the property to determine original nest sites
  • Once live activity is eradicated we conduct a treatment to establish a barrier to prevent termites from coming back

What are the signs of termite activity?

Whether you are buying, selling, or simply looking to protect your home, a termite inspection will provide you with peace of mind. Therefore, a termite inspection should be undertaken:

  • An ‘alate’ event or flying ants (termites) especially from within their home
  • Soft window sills or skirting boards
  • Soft floorboards or floors boards which partially collapses
  • Hollow sounds on  wall surfaces
  • Mud tunnels or ‘mudding’ around the exterior of homes
  • Termite activity in the garden, namely in landscape timbers, old tree stumps or veranda structures

How long does a termite treatment take?

Our treatments generally take 1-day to complete but may involve recurring visits if we need to bait the termite activity before reinstating the termite barrier.
